They are very religious and have to visit the holy land if they wanted to be sent to heaven after death and just to show Jesus that they actually beleive in him. That’s important because it’s the main thing in the middle ages that they do. But what is not so good about traveling there is that theives would rob them and take their horses and they wouldn’t be able to go to the land. Basicly in the midieval times the pilgramages have changed everything. It made the middle ages more religious because of this holy land. middle ages

Middle Ages

What i have just recently learned in the middle ages was a song that i really didn’t know what it actually meant at first, until i heard it from our social studiesclass. The song/riddle is called as ring around the rosie. The first line of the song, ring around the rosie meant a ring of a hurtful rash on someone’s body. The part of the song, pocket full of posies meant that all these people are dying because of this rash spreading around, and nobody knew why it was happening, back then they thought it was because god was angry, but today we know that they was the black rat who carried on this horrible disease. And the last part of this riddle is, Ashes! Ashes! We all fall down. This meant that nobody really cared anymore about their lives, so they all fought and killed themselves because they knew they were going sooner or later.
